Calder's Kitchen award winning Great Taste Piccalilli was based on Grandad Charlie's traditional recipe. Each jar is packed full of crunchy vegetables with an easy balance of sweet/sour that allows the spice and vegetable to shine. Versatile condiment that compliments any dish.

Enjoy as a side serving with cheese or meat dishes, but also with potatoes, vegetables and salads. The classic Piccalilli makes the best sandwich or toastie filler or can be added as a tasty cooking ingredient.

Calder's Kitchen Piccalilli - 310g

  • Calder's Kitchen was formed by husband and wife team Andrew and Anne-Marie Calder in 2015

Andrew and Anne-Marie started making Piccalilli in the family kitchen after discovering Andrew's late Granddad, Charlie's favourite family recipe and deciding to 'give it a go'.

They take pride in their values which are providing quality, fresh and unique flavours, hard work and making customers smile.

After initially giving their first batch to family and friends to try and receiving great feedback, the family started to sell hampers at Christmas to raise money for a school in Tanzania, East Africa.

Andrew and Anne-Marie have now developed two variations on the traditional recipe, Chillililli which has a delicious medium strength sweet chilli glow and later, the slightly naughty spicy Sillylilli (Andrew's favourite which he now eats with, well pretty much everything!).

  • The store stocks a number of piccalilli and we make no apologies for doing so. Artisan piccalilli seems unique in the fact that each variety, whilst recognisably Piccalilli, have a complexity of their own. Andrew and Anne-Marie have been really clever in producing a piccalilli for every occasion...and no, none of them are bright yellow!
