Our pasta is made in the unspoilt Orcia Valley of southern Tuscany, using premium high density, 100% Tuscan organic durum wheat. Whereas industrial pasta comes smooth from teflon forms, Seggiano pasta is bronze drawn, which gives it a rough, matt texture that is porous and binds perfectly with sauces. Slow drying for 26 hours at temperatures below 50º C, preserves the nutritional quality of the grain. This, in combination with the premium quality of the durum wheat used, gives the cooked pasta its even, firm consistency and excellent flavour.
